The Trust also funds the staging of the Forum’s flagship event Culture Fest at Newbury Racecourse every year (Saturday June 11 http://www.all2gether.org.uk/default.asp?action=news&newsid=31) a very popular event, which beings together West Berkshire’s rich cultural diversity through music, food, education and entertainment.

The latest grant aid was to support an excellent Holocaust Memorial event at Newbury Library.

These are the main aims and objectives of the Forum:

  • Engage, develop and support the Voluntary Community Sector (VCS)
  • Celebrate diversity through a totally inclusive approach that includes developing, supporting and facilitating initiatives inclusive of age, disability, gender, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, transgender and human rights.
  • Build trust and understanding between community groups and statutory service providers by working together and utilising joint resources
