West Berkshire Citizens Advice Bureau - £5,000 to part fund the purchase of IT equipment for the Broadway House office

CAB

West Berkshire Citizens Advice Bureau is the anchor tenant at Broadway House, Greenham Common Trust’s centre for counselling and voluntary organisations in Newbury town centre.

The Trust offered the local CAB the space on the top floor of Broadway House because their previous accommodation on Bartholomew Street was too small to meet their requirements.

West Berkshire Citizens Advice Bureau Chief Executive Jan Rothwell said: “The grant contributed towards the cost of equipping the new CAB office in Broadway House with sufficient, up to date IT and telephony equipment to allow all our volunteer advisers to have timely access to fully functioning kit. This in turn helps us to meet the needs of our growing number of clients more effectively. In the three months since the move we have recorded approximately 2,200 client contacts.”
