Team Kennet is a multi-sports club with a large junior membership and a team of 30 strong committed volunteer helpers. In 2001 the team received a 'highly commended' award from the Sport England VIP Scheme.

As well as developing a successful junior athletics programme they are using a grant of £3,065 from the Trust to develop further cycling, swimming and multi sport programmes for their enthusiastic juniors.
