How to apply for a grant

Reactive grants

We have changed our grant process. Greenham Common Trust has two reactive grant rounds a year in the spring and autumn which are now administered through our new onlione grant portal findmeagrant (www.findmeagrant.org). The spring round is now open and will applications can be made until the deadline of Friday April 13. Findmeagrant will be used for grant applications for Trust funding, West Berkshire Partnership grants, West Berkshire Council Small Grants Scheme and Vibrant Villages grants considered by the Trust's Distriubution Committee in May. All new applications will be expected to use this system but don't worry it is simple with lots of Help and Frequently Asked Questions to take you through the process. And remember we are always available to call or email should you have any queries.

People are welcome to make new applications at any time before or after the April 13th deadline and grant applicants which can attract public dontions at any time (available online via findmeagrant) and funding from other grant making organisations, but after April 13th they will not be considered until the autumn round for Trust, Council and Partnership funding. The Trust will also match public donations (thoughout the year) to applications which are eligible with a Trust-Top-Up grant and administer Gift Aid, where applicable, free of charge so 100% of any donation will go directly to the applicant.

Major Projects

We welcome supporting major projects. But if you are applying for funding for a major project (one that is more than 50% of our reactive grant pot of £150,000, i.e £75,000) you should not make an application through our reactive grant rounds.
