Reactive Grants

The way you apply for reactive grants at Greenham Common Trust has changed. But don’t worry, the changes will mean you actually have less work to complete your application for grant aid and have the chance to access even more funding opportunities.
Previously if you were an individual, community organisation or local charity in the West Berkshire or North Hampshire area you would have either had to fill in a paper application form or download a form from our website and email it to apply for grant aid. After much consideration, the Trust has created a new online system called findmeagrant that can host your grant application on a web portal to make it viewable and accessible to multiple grant making organisations in the local area and the general public (and local businesses) who can donate online.
If the application meets our funding criteria, we will match the donation (up to £5,000 per application) and apply Gift Aid, where applicable, too. The donations are managed by a reputable third party credit and debit card transaction company called Cardsave, which hosts the information on their own secure server. We will not charge for this service, so 100% of your donation will go directly to your chosen charity, organisation or individual.
If you want to apply for Greenham Common Trust funding and the grant streams which we administrate on behalf of West Berkshire Council and West Berkshire Partnership, findmeagrant will be the new system to use. You can also access the Greater Greenham Partnership for funding to enhance the lives of residents in Greenham.
The beauty of findmeagrant is that you only need to make one application per project which is viewable by everybody. You will also have your own applicant portal so you can manage your applications simply and efficiently.
We understand that change is difficult and sometimes daunting which is why we have tried to make using findmeagrant as simple as possible. The step-by-step process is simple with help instructions taking you through the registration and application process. If you don’t have access to a computer or you really can’t operate the new system we will create an application for you. All you need to do is ask for a hard copy of the application form by emailing fmaghelp@greenham-common-trust.co.uk
We also understand that maintaining a personal relationship with our grant applicants is equally important, so if you have any queries about applying for our funding just get in contact with us by telephone or email and we will be very happy to help you.
The Trust is in talks with a number of grant making organisations and Trusts which operate in West Berkshire and North Hampshire and we hope to have more grant giving bodies using findmeagrant soon.
We value your feedback so once you have used findmeagrant please take a minute to fill in the questionnaire (http://www.surveyserver.net/?f=7495 ) so we can ensure that we are meeting all of your requirements.
Please visit www.findmeagrant.org to register and make an application. If you have any queries at all about findmeagrant please email fmaghelp@greenham-common-trust.co.uk or telephone 01635 817444 and ask to speak to Melissa Elliott.
