Greenham Common Trust donated £2,500 to the Newbury Spring Festival to support events in the programme of music specifically geared towards education and young people.

The scheme, which was launched in 1999 and has been growing ever since, offers the opportunity for young people to:

		perform in public in a performance venue at a major international music festival at the outset of their career
		participate in masterclasses with distinguished musicians
		attend as members of the audience, at no cost, and possibly for the first time, a live performance by professional musicians
