A regular series of events hosted by The Mandolinquents. Each month Britain's first modern mandolin quartet are inviting some of the finest folk and world musicians in the UK today to join them for their series of intimate gigs featuring musical virtuosity and humour.

Tonight's guest was John Kirkpatrick, one of the most well loved musicians on the English folk scene, performing solo, in duos, acoustic groups and electric bands, and establishing an enviable reputation as an instrumental virtuoso and session musician, as well as a leading interpreter of English folk music. He has been a member of the Albion Band, Magic Lantern, The Richard Thompson Band, Steeleye Span, Brass Monkey, Tran-Europe Diatonique and Band of Hope.
