A series of events hosted by The Mandolinquents. Each month Britain's first modern mandolin quartet are inviting some very special guests to join them for their series of intimate gigs featuring musical virtuosity and humour.

The Mandolinquents' second monthly show welcomed Metelyk, the Reading-based Ukrainian folksong, music and dance ensemble. Founded in 1979, the group has performed extensively throughout Europe. Without doubt, the success of Metelyk (the name means ‘butterfly’) is largely due to the versatility of the performers - being able to sing, play musical instruments and dance. With the preservation of Ukrainian culture and tradition at the heart of Metelyk, March's Mandolinquents club was both enlightening and enchanting, not to mention highly entertaining!
