The first of a new series of events hosted by The Mandolinquents. Each month Britain's first modern mandolin quartet are inviting some very special guests to join them for their series of intimate gigs featuring musical virtuosity and humour. This began with the wonderful Chris Newman and Maire Ni Chathasaigh. Maire, the most influential Irish harpist today and English guitar wizard Chris Newman performed a breathtaking blend of Celtic, swing jazz, baroque and bluegrass.
