THE BLUE HOURS Hosted by Barb Jungr
Acclaimed cabarettist Barb Jungr, winner of New York's prestigious Backstage 2003 International Artist of the Year award for cabaret, hosts a monthly night at New Greenham Arts. Inspired by her successful Café Prague night in Brighton, Barb introduces guests who'll entertain with a wide mix of European cabaret muusic.
Barb Jungr brought the new season of The Blue Hours to an energy filled start with her January guest, the performer and singer Howard Samuels. Howard, with Russell Churney on piano, blew the roof off a breathtaking range of songs from Bowie to Broadway, from Landesman to Lehrer.
With Barb Jungr every song becomes a poem.
