'BACKWATER' Spike Theatre
On the walls of an Oslo gallery hang portraits by an unknown photographer. In the beautifully naive sepia prints are framed the robust faces of a remote community, captured in time and place. Maintaining their consusmmate eccentricity, the award winning Spike Theatre used startling physicality, an original score and strong narrative to bring to life a rich world peopled by earthy characters, set against the harsh landscape of the Norwegian Fjords.
