'INSIGHT 2005'

Linking artists with the community, through opening doors to studios, exhibitions, free workshops and education projects.

Over 80 artist featured in the Open Studios Scheme 2005, publishing details about their work and travel directions in a glossy illustrated ‘Directory of Artists’ in full colour. You could pick up a free copy at New Greenham Arts, The Corn Exchange or Newbury Tourist Office and find your way to the artist's studios to see what kick starts their creativity. As a taster, you could visit the New Greenham Arts gallery to see work by all the artists in the ‘Insight 2005’ exhibition. Open Studio artist were also represented in a show of two and three dimensional works, ‘Pour Plusieurs Riasons’, at the Corn Exchange.

All the artists had different approaches and interesting things to say about their work. Also, hands-on workshops in some artist's studios offered a chance to add to existing skills or to learn something new.
