'LOOK BACK IN ANGER'
Box Theatre

First performed in 1956, Look Back In Anger was hailed as the first kitchen sink drama. Osborne`s protagonist Jimmy Porter captures the angry and rebellious nature of the post-war generation of angry young men. Although Osborne himself maintained Jimmy was a comic character, his stark presentation of real life was to change British theatre forever.

“as powerful a piece of theatre as you are likely to see.”
