Acclaimed cabarettist Barb Jungr, winner of New York's prestigious Backstage 2003 International Artist of the Year award for cabaret, hosted a new monthly night at New Greenham Arts. Inspired by her successful Café Prague night in Brighton, Barb introduces guests who'll entertain with a wide mix of European cabaret muusic.
September's Blue Hours presented Christine Collister, noted for having one of the most beautiful voices in Britain. Accompanied by her guitar she has been called a British Eva Cassidy with a voice given by God. Christine first came to national attention singing the theme tune to BBC TV series The Life and Loves of a She Devil and has presented BBC2's Folk Show. Christine has worked with The Richard Thompson Band, Loudon Wainwright, Bert Jansch, Clive Gregson and been part of folk supergroup Daphne's Flight.
