Set at the outbreak of the Second World War, this was the funny, moving story of the invasion of a Somerset village by young London lad Kip and other child evacuees. Music was by TV and film composer Carl Davis with many big production numbers. Words and lyrics were by Hiawyn Oram. Performed by the youth division of Newbury Operatic Society.
