On a Saturday afternoon Phil and Kev wonder why they still support United's tedious games as they hurl chants and insults at the pitch. Meanwhile Janet and Laura undress the men down the local with their words and looks and are thinking the same as Phil and Kev. When the four come together for a Saturday night out they realise this is their life, resulting in a shocking climax.

This tragic-comedy of manners (or lack of) came from David Brown, winner of The Sunday Times Playwriting Award.
