'CABARET' by resident company Shining Lights
Just before Hitler's rise to power Clifford Bradshaw arrives in decadent Berlin to pen a great novel but is distracted by flamboyant cabaret performer Sally Bowles, with whom he falls in love. Based on Christopher Isherwood's 'Berlin Stories' and John Van Druten's 'I am a Camera', the musical showed the upheaval that war and prejudice played in that volatile period.
This was Shining Lights first musical production and featured such well known songs as 'Wilkommen', 'Money' and of course 'Cabaret'.
