'BLUE REMEMBERED HILLS' The Box Theatre's version of Dennis Potter's play
One of Dennis Potter's best known and best loved plays, Blue Remembered Hills tells the story of a group of seven-year-old children on a hot summer's day in wartime Britain. The children, all played by adults fight, play, argue, bully, joke and cry, giving the audience a poignant glimpse of home life, as their games turn to tragedy.
"..as powerful a piece of theatre as you are likely to see this side of whenever...I hope the company remember those moments with justifiable pride." Ashley Pearce, Newbury Weekly News |
