POETRY SLAM!

An evening dedicated to the spoken word. Be it a rant, a routine, or a beautiful verse in couplets, the audience was welcome to stand up and be heard. It was an informal night of revelry, full of laughter, emotion and debate. It was great fun for those who would give it go and maybe more fun for their mates in the crowd. On the night the audience, along with the judges, (chosen at random), decided who was to be crowned slam champ for the night. These monthly evenings, dedicated to words spoken and performed, have proved somewhat of a hit.
