GORDON GILTRAP
Best known for the 1977 hit 'Heartsong', which went on to become the soundtrack for the Holiday Programme on BBC1, Gordon's career spans more than thirty years and twenty-five albums. Other songs have been used as soundtracks for TV shows such as World Bowls and Wish You Were Here, and he also wrote a number of tunes with Sir Cliff Richard for the hit musical Heathcliff. Following the success of this writing partnership, Gordon joined Sir Cliff on the track; 'All That Matters', for the Princess Diana memorial album.
The Troubadour album (2001) reached critical acclaim with sleeve notes from Sir Tim Rice and Sir Cliff Richard and his most recent recording is a collaboration with respected jazz musician Martin Taylor.
