'4:48 PSYCHOSIS' The Shining Lights Theatre Company
Shining Lights were invited to become the new Skills Based Youth Theatre at the Corn Exchange, and were resident at New Greenham Arts (see the residencies page.) Sarah Kane's challenging play '4:48 Psychosis' was her last work before her suicide at the age of 28. The play's title reflects "the dawn moment when you're at your sanest and therefore most prone to suicide".
""Quite a challenge for this company but they handled it with sensitivity and understanding. The ensemble work was powerfully presented, changing shapes and moods with the cast working together as a harmonious team...I came away from this play deeply moved by the issues raised...powerful stuff!"
