'SOMETHING IN COMMON' - a joint exhibition by Nina Packer and Cathy Miles.

Cathy Miles and Nina Packer are both practising artists from silversmithing and jewellery backgrounds. The exhibition traced the gestation of an idea, and demonstrated working processes and methods alongside their conclusive body of work. Both artists explored individual uses of interaction, wordplay and narrative, through two- and three-dimensional drawing, found and made objects and metalwork. Something in Common aimed to investigate elements of connotation, reaction, connection and recognition that are common to both.
