'THIRST' by The Kaos.
O'Connor, a genius engineer, arrives in a remote gold mining outpost in Western Australia sometime in the late 19th century to find no one has seen water in a hundred years. The people have survived on deliveries of beer and women, whilst providing the nation with gold. O'Connor devises a waterway from the sea to the outpost, but his award winning design becomes the most expensive construction in the history of the modern world. There is a scandal, and on the day of the grand opening O'Connor takes a short, solitary stroll. Outrageous new junk music theatre by Kaos' Xavier Leret, inspired by a true story.
"Blending physical theatre with accappela singing, an original soundtrack and a new script, 'THIRST' will bring all of the quirkiness of classic Magic-Realism to this romantic tale of a genius destroyed! Their strong identity and particular style has defined Kaos as a world of theatre of their own." |
