'DISCOVERING JAPAN' was a hands on exhibition where you could experience Japanese culture first hand; try on Japanese traditional dress, design a miniature Japanese garden, try your skills at Japanese writing, design a family crest, practice wrapping presents Japanese style and even taste some Japanese food.

Organised by the Donnington Grove Japan Society for 'Japan 2001', the exhibition was extremely popular, particularly with school parties.
