Newbury Dramatic Society presented 'LOVE BEGINS AT 50' by Raymond Hopkins. Stuck in a long but dull marriage, and approaching his 50th birthday, Clive decides to have a final fling before settling down to old age. He responds to three lonely-hearts adverts in the local paper andd arranges a night of fun that inevitably has all the elements of classical farce.
"The standard of the acting, by all the cast, was very high, the timing was good and the pace was fast. Paul Shave, Newbury Weekly News |
