'GRID VISIONS' was an exhibition of contemporary photography by 4 artists who used repetition and sequencing in grid composities to regiment space, discover pattern, or create movement. The artists were Suky Best, Gavin Hipkins, Effie Paleologou and Liz Rideal. The exhibition was organised by the sates.org exhibition service at Winchester School of Art.
"This is an interesting exhibition challenging assumptions about time and photography. The grid structure creates freedom rather than rigidity, and the sequencing in Paleologou’s work emphasises the movement of time in this age of moving images." Fiona Robinson, Newbury Weekly News |
