'THE INTERFACE BETWEEN ART, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN THE NEW MILLENNIUM' was the theme for this exhibition of entries in a competition run by New Greenham Arts. The competition winner was announced by Ringo Starr after he had unveiled the monumental work 'Broken Symmetry' by his friend, the late Michael Kenny RA at the Enterprise Centre at New Greenham Park. The winner was Studio 8's own Claire Crofts, with her piece entitled 'LITMUS TIME', which depicted the ever changing face of the sky. Claire won a solo exhibition of her work at New Greenham Arts.
"All the work is of an impressively high standard. This is a show that will reward anyone willing to respond to intellectual questioning. This is, without doubt, a fairly cerebral show and it is worth the trip to New Greenham Arts." Gavin Wilkinson, Newbury Weekly News |
