New Greenham Arts - facilities

New Greenham Arts is housed in the former airbase Recreation Centre.

Studio 1 - Auditorium

Studio 1 is a theatre and auditorium licensed to accommodate from 100 up to 150 people seated theatre style or 350 people standing and is suitable for small scale performances, rehearsals, classes, workshops, talks and seminars, as well as business conferences. Studio - Multi Purpose

Studio 2 consists of around 900sq. ft. The Studio can be hired for the use of classes, meetings, rehearsals etc for £10.50 + VAT per hour (classes and community rehearsals only). Studio 3 - Media Suite

Studio 3 houses a media suite, consisting of 3 iMac computers, 1 Power Mac, and a scanner. Software available includes Adobe Photo Shop 6, Illustrator, Premier, Live Motion, After Effects, In Design and ATM, and Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash, Director, Fireworks and Cleaner 5. Studio 4 & 5

Studio 4 & 5 is a large exhibition space of about 1200sq.ft. New Greenham Arts is interested in attracting artists from the local, national and international community with a view to providing an exciting program of contemporary arts in varying media, with a particular focus on the interaction between the arts, commerce and science and technology. Studio 8

Studio 8 houses currently houses 10 artists working in a variety of media including sculpture, painting, mixed media, textiles, ceramics and stained glass. There are continuously changing exhibitions of the studio 8 artists' work on display in the Lobby area. If you would like to look round their studios and see some work in progress please call the New Greenham Arts office to arrange it. For more information about the studio 8 artists please see the studio 8 page. Studio 8 space is charged at from £86 to £142 plus VAT per month. Restaurant and Bar

Operating within the Arts Centre, New Greenham Tandoori is a fully licensed, high class Indian restaurant catering for those visiting New Greenham Arts in the evenings.
