Plans and structural details at the former missile base at Greenham are a current source of investigation. The small studies shown here relate to this. They come under a general title of 'Homage to Chillida'. the Spanish artist whose potently massive sculptures are complemented by small collages and drawings which, like Rodin's watercolours, illumine aspects not manifested in the large 3-dimensional works.
The wall drawing / writing is part of an on-going look at shelters of all kinds.
New work in 2007 uses layers of transparent film to develop spatial concepts explored in paintings.
