Giving West Berkshire maximising local philanthropy

Giving West Berkshire is a partnership initiative, established by Greenham Common Trust, The Vodafone Foundation and Berkshire Community Foundation, with the aim of providing individuals and companies with the opportunity to maximise their local charitable giving in West Berkshire.

Giving West Berkshire has established two separate charitable funds that provide local businesses and individual donors with an innovative method of giving money to local charities that will maximize their support. The initiative also allows donors to influence where and when the money is to be spent.

The two separate charitable funds are:

Immediate Grants Fund
- where funds are distributed to local charities and charitable projects on an annual basis and where for every £1 donated Vodafone Foundation and Greenham Common Trust will both donate a further £1 (up to a maximum of £10,000 each per annum).

West Berkshire Community Fund
- a long-term investment fund, where donations are invested and the interest that accrues is distributed into the community on an annual basis.
