For the Trust's fifth year of Grant Aid Distribution £60,000 was made available for grants from £50 to £10,000. Major grants for 2002 can be seen on the major funding page. In 2002 the Trust did not differentiating its awards into different categories.

CHIEVELEY PRESCHOOL PLAYGROUP £500 to purchase equipment for physical activities: a balance beam, a sandpit and basket ball net, and for developmental use: arts and crafts materials, books and puzzles
COMPTON PLAYGROUP £500 to assist with the refurbishment of the playgroup to improve safety and comfort
CROFT FIELD CENTRE MOBILE PROJECT (HUNGERFORD) £9,000 to enable the immediate launch of a mobile project benefiting communities in rural West Berkshire
